Custom Template Sizing Information

Each font choice in the Custom Template section states the approximate width and height of each letter. Please not that these are "averages"! You will get an APPROXIMATE dimension using this formula. If your design in in all caps your design will be wider! These "averages" are based on normal punctuation. For exmaple: "Falcons". Words that use letters with a "tail" such as y or g will be slightly taller.
 
Here is an example how to calculate the dimensions of a finished design:
 
Using Bebe Font - Each character is approximately .825" wide x 1" high. To calculate the width of your custom template design multiply the number of characters by .825"
 
Example 1:
PHS Falcons = 11 characters (Spaces and punctuation count as characters)
11 x .825" = 9.08" wide
Overall design dimensions would be approximately 9.08" w x 1" h.

Example 2:
PHS
Falcons (Notice the words are "stacked" on 2 lines)
10 Characters

Calculate width by using the LONGEST line of text. In this case "Falcons" (7 Letters) 7 x .825" = 5.78" wide
In this example the letters are approximately 1" high. There are 2 lines of text. Allow up to 1/2 an inch between lines of text. 2 (lines of text) x 1" (height of each line of text) = 2 + 1/2" (space between lines of text) = 2.5" High.

Overall design dimensions would be approximately 5.78" x 2.5" with a total of 10 Letters/Characters
